The Women in Cybersecurity Mid-Atlantic Affiliate (WiCyS MAA) is a regional affiliate that covers these geographic areas: South New Jersey, South-East Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia. As a WiCyS Affiliate, we will undertake activities to promote, educate, recruit, retain, and advance women in cybersecurity.

Pronounced "(we-sis)", was established in 2012 by Dr. Ambareen Siraj of Tennessee Tech University through a National Science Foundation grant, partnerships, and collaboration benefits for all women, male allies and advocates with a strong mission to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity. It is non-profit membership organization with national reach that is dedicated to bringing together women in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry to share knowledge, experience, networking and mentoring.
